Last week for Tip Tuesday, I talked about the importance of authenticity in building a personal brand. Today, I'm continuing the personal branding tip series with another key- CONSISTENCY.
I've already stressed that having a strong personal brand is crucial to real estate success. It's the best way today to set yourself apart from the competition and build trust with your clients. BUT if you're not consistent and don't regularly live up to your brand, what's the point of having one?
A strong brand is built through consistency and consistency can only be built over time. This is a long term play and something you should expect to incorporate into your day-to-day. It's going to take some time and effort, but it will be worth it because consistency builds trust. And if your clients trust you, they’re more likely to do business with you.
This Week's Action Item:
Take a closer look at what you've been posting on social media.
Keeping your 3-5 brand adjectives from video 2 in mind, ask yourself these questions:
- Are my social profiles consistent? Do they all have the same name, profile photo, bio etc.?
- Do my posts reflect my personal brand? / Do they relate to my brand adjectives?
- Are my voice and my language consistent?
